Why am I asked to upload a resume before the interview?
If GoodSpace has no readable resume on your account, the interview screen asks for one so the questions can match your background. Upload a PDF or Word file and the interview continues.
The interview is built from the job description and from your resume. Without a resume Maya has nothing personal to ask about, so GoodSpace stops and asks for the file first.
Clear the prompt
- Read the box
It says Upload your resume to start the interview.
- Choose the file
Press Upload Resume and pick a PDF or Word file.
The picker accepts .pdf, .doc and .docx.
- Wait for it to be read
A progress panel runs while your resume is read. Do not close the tab.
- Continue
Once it finishes, the interview screen carries on.
If something goes wrong
"Invalid resume. Please upload a valid resume."
WhyThe file could not be read, usually a scanned image saved as a PDF.
FixExport a normal text PDF from Word or Google Docs and upload that.
"Error While Uploading Resume Please Try Again!!!!"
WhyThe upload did not reach GoodSpace.
FixCheck your connection and try once more. If it keeps failing, upload the resume from your profile first, then reopen the interview link.
