Profile and resume

Open your profile and use the pencil or Add on the card you want to change. Every section has its own editor and saves on its own, there is no single settings form.

Select the small camera button on your profile picture and choose an image under 5 MB. It updates on your profile and in the menus right away.

The percentage on your photo counts six things: photo, education, employment, social links, resume, and feedback from three people. A fuller profile ranks better with hirers.

It is a short questionnaire about how you like to work, grouped into categories. Pick one option per question and each answer saves straight away.

The About card holds your summary, up to 500 characters. Your headline is the one line under your name and is edited with the pencil by your name, up to 200 characters.

Use the Add button on the Employment or Education card. A job takes job title, company, dates and a description; a qualification takes degree, school and years.

Use the pencil on the Key skills card and search for each skill. The card shows ten before a View more link, so put your strongest first.

Projects and Certifications & awards are two cards near the bottom of your profile. Use Add on each. A certificate can also carry an image or PDF of the document.

Use the pencil on the Social links card and paste each address. LinkedIn, GitHub, X, Instagram, Behance, Dribbble, YouTube and a personal website are all supported.

Open Edit details on your profile card and set Availability, Current CTC and Expected CTC. Both salary bands have to be filled in together, and both are private until you publish them.

The Work from your platforms card connects accounts like GitHub, Medium and Behance and publishes what you have made on your profile. You can hide a platform with Unlive or remove it with Disconnect.

Use the Resume card on your profile and pick a PDF, DOC or DOCX under 5 MB. GoodSpace reads the file and fills your profile from it.

Select Update on the Resume card and pick the new file. It replaces the old one, and your profile details are read again from the new version.

Uploads are refused when the file is the wrong type, over 5 MB, locked, unreadable, or missing a phone number or email. Each message below says exactly what to change.

Your name, summary, skills, job titles, work history, education, years of experience, location and links are read from the file. Anything read wrongly can be corrected on the matching profile card.

The Resume card on your profile shows the file with View Resume and a download button. Only you see that card, it is never shown to visitors.

Your profile has a public address anyone can open. Claiming a handle turns it into goodspace.ai/profile/in/yourname, which is what you share.

Anyone with your link sees your photo, headline, About, skills, jobs, education, projects and links. Your email, phone, salary and resume stay hidden unless you publish them or a hirer unlocks your profile.

All four are private by default. Each has its own Public or Private pill on your profile, and changing one says nothing about the others.
