How do I keep my email, phone and salary private?
All four are private by default. Each has its own Public or Private pill on your profile, and changing one says nothing about the others.
Change what is published
- Open your profile
Go to your profile.
- Find the pill
Email and phone have one next to them on your profile card. Current and expected salary have one each on the Salary card.
- Select it to switch
Private means hidden from visitors, Public means visible to anyone with your profile link.
The tooltip spells it out: Visible to anyone with your profile link. Click to hide it.

If something goes wrong
"Could not change that. Please try again."
WhyThe change did not reach the server.
FixSelect the pill again. It goes back to its previous state when a change fails, so what you see is the real setting.
The salary pill will not do anything
WhyThere is no salary saved yet.
FixSet both salary bands first, see Expected salary and notice period.

It can. Anyone with your link can then see the number, so only publish it if you want direct calls.
Are my social links private too?
No. Links are always shown, because sharing them is the point of adding them.
Is my resume covered by these switches?
No. Your resume is never shown to ordinary visitors, it is shown to a hirer who has unlocked your profile.
