What are the setup questions after I sign up?
Setup runs in four short steps: your details or resume, your experience and expected salary, then job titles, skills, location and three values, and finally the Gold plans. Answers save as you go.
The four steps
- Step 1, your details
Upload Resume fills the rest in for you, or type Full Name and Email Id by hand.
Uploading a resume here can carry you straight past several of the later questions.
- Step 2, your work
Industries you have experience in, Years of Experience and Expected CTC. Freshers are not asked for industry or years.
- Step 3, what you are looking for
Job title (at least 2), Skills (at least 3, up to 10), Preferred location, and Goodspace values where you pick exactly 3.
Two tick boxes sit at the bottom: one for WhatsApp, SMS and RCS messages, one for the personalised job newsletter.
- Step 4, Gold
The last screen offers GoodSpace Gold. You can move past it, your account is already active.
If something goes wrong
"Please Enter At Least 2 Job titles"
FixAdd a second job title. Search the box and pick from the suggestions so it matches how jobs are tagged.
"Please Enter At Least 3 Job skills"
FixAdd three or more skills. Suggested skills appear once you pick a job title.
"Please Select Your Top 3 Values"
FixPick exactly three values. Fewer than three will not let the step save.
Related questions
Can I skip setup?
The steps have to be answered before the account is fully active, but you can leave and come back. Opening setup again resumes at the step you were on.
Can I change these answers later?
Yes. Everything here is editable on your profile. See Profile and resume.

Open setup again and choose the other card, I am A Job Seeker or I am a Recruiter.
