How do I scan my resume for an ATS score?
Open the ATS Score Checker, drop in a PDF or Word file, verify your mobile number with the OTP, and wait a few seconds. The report opens on its own when the scan finishes.
Run a scan
- Open the checker
Go to the ATS Score Checker.
- Add your resume
Click Import your resume and pick a file, or drag the file onto the box.
PDF, DOC and DOCX only, under 5 MB.
- Verify your number
If you are not signed in, we read the phone number from your resume and send an OTP to it. Enter the OTP to continue.
If your resume has no phone number, type one in the box instead.
- Wait for the scan
You will see Scanning your resume with the steps Reading your resume, Scoring it the way an ATS would and Writing up your report.
- Read the report
The report opens by itself. Start on Home, which lists what to fix first.
How long it takes
- Upload
- A few seconds, depending on your connection.
- Scan
- Usually a few seconds. The progress screen shows sections and word count as they are found.
- If you come back later
- The report stays on your account. Open it again from VIEW LAST REPORT on the checker page.
