How do I re-scan my resume after fixing it?
Press Re-scan resume in the report sidebar and upload your corrected file. Each re-scan uses one scan credit, or is included if you are on Gold.
Score your edited resume
- Make your edits
Fix the issues in your own file, or in the Resume Builder, and export a fresh PDF.
- Press Re-scan resume
The button is under the score ring in the report sidebar.
The line under it says Included in your plan or how many scans you have left.
- Upload the new file
In Re-Calculate Your Resume Score, choose the file and press Proceed →.
- Read the new report
You land on a new report for the new file. Your old report stays on your account.
If something goes wrong
The button opens a payment popup instead
WhyYou have no scan credits left and no active plan.
FixUnlock more scans or take Gold. See unlocking the full report.
"Resume already parsed"
WhyThat exact file has already been scanned, so its report exists.
FixOpen the existing report instead. To score changes, upload the edited file as a new upload.
A check says **Re-scan** instead of a number
WhyYour report was made before that check existed.
FixRun a fresh scan so every check has a result.

Does re-scanning cost a credit even if nothing changed?
A brand new file uses a credit. Scanning a file whose report already exists opens the existing report and does not charge again.
Will my score definitely go up?
Only if the fixes are real. Adding keywords you do not have, or padding bullets, can move the number without helping you.
How many scans does Gold include?
15 resume scans a month, alongside every other premium tool.
