How do I match my resume to a job description?
Press Check & Tailor in the top bar, paste the whole job posting and you get a match percentage with the keywords your resume is missing. Add the ones you genuinely have and the score re-runs.
Score your resume against a posting
- Open the panel
Press Check & Tailor in the bar above the editor. On a narrow screen it reads Check JD.
- Paste the full posting
Include responsibilities and requirements. A job title on its own is not enough to read.
- Read the match
You get a percentage and two lists: what your resume already has, and what the posting asks for that it does not.
- Add what is true
Press the plus beside a keyword to add it to your Skills. The score re-runs on its own after the change.
If something goes wrong

Is this the same number as my ATS score?
No. This is how well one resume matches one posting. The ATS score rates the resume as a document, with no posting involved.
Should I keep a separate resume per job?
Tailoring the summary and skills for each application is usually enough, and you can keep several resumes if you prefer.
