How do I use a resume example as my starting point?
Open an example for your role and press Use this resume. The builder opens with that structure and wording already in place, and your own name and contact fields left empty for you to fill.
Start from an example
- Browse the examples
Open resume examples and find the role closest to yours.
- Press Use this resume
It sits under the example. If you are not signed in, you will enter your number and an OTP first.
- Replace the content
The builder opens with the example's sections and wording. Your name, email and phone are left blank on purpose so nothing of the example's details reaches your resume.
- Rewrite each line
Change every bullet to your own work. Sending an example unedited is worse than sending a plain resume.

Can I change the template afterwards?
Yes. Open Template in the bar at the bottom of the editor and pick any of the 24 designs.
Will the example resume be downloadable for free?
No. Downloading follows the same rule as any other resume. See why download is locked.
Nothing was carried over
This can happen in a private browsing window, where the page cannot hold the example while you sign in. Sign in first, then press Use this resume again.
