Does my resume save automatically?
There is no save button. Changes save on their own about two seconds after you stop typing, including template, colour, font and layout choices. If a save fails you will see a message.
How saving works
- When
- About two seconds after your last change.
- What
- Every section, the section order, and the template, colour, font, spacing and paper settings.
- Where
- On your account, so the resume opens the same way on any device you sign in to.
- Failures
- A message appears rather than the change disappearing quietly.
If something goes wrong
"Could not save your changes. Check your connection."
WhyThe save did not reach the server.
FixCheck your internet, then make a small edit to trigger another save. Keep the tab open until it goes through.
"This resume was already downloaded, so changes cannot be saved yet. Download it again to keep the current version."
WhyThis resume has been downloaded, and saving is refused on it.
FixDownload it again to keep the current version, or start a new resume for further edits.
I closed the tab and lost the last line I typed
WhyThe save had not fired yet.
FixPause a couple of seconds after typing before you close the tab.

Is there a version history?
No. Undo and redo cover the current editing session, and your last saved state is what the PDF uses.
Can I work offline?
No. Saving needs a connection, so edits made offline are not stored.
Will my resume still be there next month?
Yes. Open it from Recent Work in premium tools.
