How do I start a resume?
Press Start Building on the Resume Builder page, sign in, then pick Build from scratch or Upload & Optimize. You can paste a job description or skip that step, and the editor opens.
Start a resume
- Open the builder
Go to the Resume Builder and press Start Building.
- Sign in
Enter your mobile number and the OTP. Your resume is saved to this account.
- Choose how to build
Build from scratch gives you guided sections to fill in. Upload & Optimize starts from a resume you already have.
- Add the job you are targeting
In Tailor Resume to Job Description you can add a job title and paste the posting, or press Skip. Both fields are optional.
The job description box holds up to 5000 characters.
- Edit
The editor opens with your sections on the left and the live page on the right.

Do I have to paste a job description?
No. Press Skip. You can paste one later from Check & Tailor inside the editor.
I already have a resume on GoodSpace
Choose Upload & Optimize. If you are signed in and set up, the box lists your saved resumes so you can pick one instead of uploading again.
Can freshers use it?
Yes. Fill in Education, Projects and Skills. Work Experience can stay empty and the page will not look broken.
