Why is my cover letter download locked?
Writing, editing and AI rewrites are free. Downloading the PDF needs a Cover Letter credit or Gold. Pressing Download PDF without one opens the plan picker.
If the letter is not unlocked, pressing Download PDF opens Unlock Your Professional Cover Letter. That is the paywall, not an error.
The two ways to unlock

Unlock and download
- Press Download PDF
The plan picker opens on its own if the letter is not unlocked.
- Choose an option
Press Pay & Download → for the pack, or Get GoodSpace Gold for the subscription. The price shown at checkout includes any offer running at the time.
- Pay
Finish the Razorpay checkout. The PDF is prepared as soon as the payment goes through.
If something goes wrong
"Payment cancelled or failed"
WhyThe checkout was closed, or the bank refused the payment.
FixTry again with another method. If money left your account, see Payments and refunds.
"Payment failed"
WhyThe purchase could not be completed.
FixReload the editor and press Download PDF again before paying a second time, in case the first one went through.
I am on Gold and it still asks me to pay
WhyYour plan was not picked up on this page.
FixReload the editor and press Download PDF again. If it repeats, check your plan in Gold membership.
