Does my cover letter save automatically?
There is no save button. Your changes save on their own about two seconds after you stop typing, and the letter stays on your account so you can open it again later.
How saving works
- When
- About two seconds after your last change.
- What
- Every field, plus the template, colour and text size.
- Where
- On your account, so the letter opens on any device you sign in to.
- After download
- Saving stops, because a downloaded letter is read only.
If something goes wrong
My last sentence is missing when I reopen
WhyThe tab was closed before the save fired.
FixType it again and wait a moment before leaving the page.
"This cover letter has been downloaded and cannot be edited. Please create a new cover letter."
WhyThe letter is already downloaded, so it is locked for editing.
FixGenerate a new letter for further changes. See read only after download.
"Failed to load cover letter"
WhyThe letter could not be opened.
FixReload the page, then open it again from Recent Work in premium tools.

No. The letter holds its current state only, so keep a copy of anything you may want back.
Can I work offline?
