Why is there a watermark and why can't I copy the text?
Until the letter is unlocked, the preview shows a watermark and copying from the page is blocked. Unlock it and the downloaded PDF is clean, with no watermark and no branding.
The watermark sits on the preview, not on your letter. It is there so the page can be read and checked in full before you decide to pay, without being usable as the finished document.
What is blocked and what is not
- Reading
- Nothing is hidden. The whole letter is on screen.
- Editing
- Free. Every field works before you unlock.
- Copying
- Blocked in the editor and the preview until the letter is unlocked.
- Watermark
- On the preview only. The downloaded PDF has none.

A screenshot carries the watermark and is the wrong resolution for an application. The PDF is what you attach.
