During the Interview

The AI interviewer is not speaking

Check your device volume and that the browser tab is not muted, then tap once anywhere on the page. Browsers block audio until the page has been interacted with, and one tap releases it.

Fix it in order

  1. Turn the volume up

Check the device volume and the volume of any headphones you have connected.

  2. Unmute the tab

On desktop, right click the browser tab and make sure it is not muted.

  3. Tap once on the page

Browsers hold audio back until you interact with a page. A single tap or key press releases it.

  4. Look for a **Start interview** button

If the page says your browser is holding back audio, select Start interview to begin.

  5. Reload and try once more

If there is still no voice, refresh the page. If the session had not started, it opens again.

Can I read the questions instead of hearing them?
