What is AI Mock Interview and how does it work?
AI Mock Interview is a spoken practice interview with an AI interviewer. You give a job role and a job description, the AI asks questions out loud and you answer out loud, and afterwards you get a report with scores and feedback on each answer.
This is practice only. It is not connected to any job you applied for, and no employer sees it. For the AI interview that is part of a real job application, see AI interview.
How a session runs
- You set it up
Choose or upload a resume, then fill in the job role and job description you are practising for.
- The AI interviewer talks to you
Your microphone and camera turn on and the interviewer speaks the questions aloud. You answer by speaking, the same as a video call.
- The interview ends
It ends when the interviewer finishes its questions, when you end it yourself, or when a free preview runs out of time.
- You get a report
A full interview is analysed and a scored report opens. A free preview is not analysed, so it has no report.
Reports take about 30 to 60 seconds to be ready.

Does a mock interview affect my job applications?
No. It is practice. Your score is not shown to recruiters and it does not change your applications.
Can I type my answers instead of speaking?
No. The session is spoken, so a working microphone is required.
How many questions will I be asked?
The interviewer decides as it goes and shows the question number on screen once it starts numbering them.
