"Reconnecting... Please stay on this page."
Your internet dropped and the page is trying to restore the interview. Stay on the page and do not refresh. If it cannot reconnect in time, the session closes and you are offered your report or the plans.
What to do
- Stay on the page
Keep the tab open and in front. The banner clears by itself once the interview is back.
- Check your internet
Move closer to the router or switch from mobile data to Wi-Fi if you can.
- Wait for the outcome
If it reconnects, carry on answering. If it cannot, the session closes and the next screen tells you what is available.
If something goes wrong
"Lost connection to the interview server"
WhyThe connection dropped before the interview had really started.
FixReload the page. If the session had not started, it can be opened again from AI Mock Interview.
"Error: ... Please refresh the page to try again."
WhyThe interview could not be set up.
FixRefresh once. If the same message returns, start a new session.
The interviewer stopped talking and nothing happens
WhyThe voice stream may be reconnecting behind the scenes.
FixGive it a few seconds. If a reconnecting banner is showing, wait it out rather than refreshing.

Does a disconnect waste my credit?
The credit is spent when the session is unlocked, so it is not returned automatically. Contact support if a session was lost right at the start.
Can I switch devices mid interview?
No. Finish on the device you started on, or start a new session.
