How is my referral earning decided?
Each job carries an estimated earning worked out from its salary range, shown as Earn up to an amount by referring. What you actually get depends on the salary the candidate is finally offered.
How the number works
- Shown as
- Earn up to an amount by referring, on the job's referral card
- Based on
- The salary range published for that job
- Final amount
- Worked out from the salary the candidate is actually offered
- Cap
- No cap on how many referrals you make or how much you earn
- Paid when
- The hire is confirmed and marked as paid
The Refer and Earn page puts it plainly: before you refer a job, you see the estimated earning potential based on the role and expected salary range, and final earnings depend on the candidate's final CTC after hiring.

FixLook for jobs with the Refer & Earn tag, which carry an amount.
The amount I was credited is lower than the estimate
WhyThe estimate uses the top of the salary range.
