You've used your hour: the free Lumi limit
On the free plan Lumi answers 8 requests an hour, and the meter above the chat shows how many are left. The cap resets every hour. Gold raises the limit.

No. Gold raises the limit and runs on Lumi 5.0. Each individual chat still has a length limit, which applies on every plan.
Does reading old chats use up my requests?
No. Only sending a message counts.
