Where do I find Lumi, and why is the bubble missing?
Lumi is the bubble at the bottom right of most signed in pages, and it has its own page at /lumi. It is hidden on focused screens such as an interview, onboarding and some tool workspaces.
Three ways in
- The bubble
Bottom right on most signed in pages. Select it to open the full chat.
- The page
Go straight to /lumi. This works even when you are signed out.
- From your home
On your dashboard the career counselling card and banner both open Lumi.
Where the bubble is hidden on purpose
- During an interview, so nothing floats over a recorded assessment
- During onboarding and the Goodness assessment, which are step by step flows
- On the resume scanner, resume builder, cover letter and mock interview workspaces, which have their own panels
- On the job tracker, the Gold plans page and the extension page
- On /lumi itself and on your dashboard, where Lumi opens full screen instead
- On hirer pages, because Lumi is a job seeker assistant
If something goes wrong
The bubble is missing on a normal page
WhyYou are signed out, or your account is in hiring mode.
FixSign in as a job seeker. If you switched to hiring, switch back from the profile menu.
Lumi opens but the page behind it is stuck
WhyLumi is full screen over the page.
FixUse the back control at the top left of Lumi to go back to the page underneath.
