This chat has reached its length limit
Every Lumi chat has a length limit. When it is reached the message box is replaced with a notice and a Continue in a new chat button. The old chat stays readable in your history.
Keep going
- Select Continue in a new chat
This opens a fresh chat linked to the one you were in.
- Restate the important part
A new chat starts clean, so paste the one or two lines that matter, for example the job description you were working on.
- Go back any time
The old chat is still in the history rail and can still be read.
If something goes wrong
The limit hit right after Lumi answered
WhyThe limit is applied after the answer is finished, so you always get the reply you asked for.
FixOnly the next message is refused. Select Continue in a new chat.
My message disappeared instead of sending
WhyThe send was refused, usually by this limit.
FixLook for the length limit notice above the message box, then continue in a new chat.
