Screening questions

What are the screening questions in the chat?

Jobs with screening questions open a short chat that asks them one at a time. Answer each one, review your answers, then select Submit application.

Answer and submit

  1. Read the progress line

The header shows Question 1 of 4 and similar, so you always know how many are left.

  2. Answer each question

Yes or no questions show Yes and No buttons. Open questions have a text box. Press the arrow or Enter to send.

  3. Change an answer if you want

Select Edit next to any answer you have given. The header changes to Review & submit once all questions are answered.

  4. Submit

Select Submit application. The chat shows Your application is complete, analysing it now and then your result.

Good to know

  • The resume you picked is shown as a chip at the top of the chat
  • Nothing is sent to the company until you press Submit application
  • You can edit any answer right up to the moment you submit
  • Closing the chat before submitting cancels the application

Can I skip a question?

Every screening question is asked in turn and is meant to be answered. Unanswered questions count against you when the hiring team reviews the application.

Is this the AI interview?

No. This is a short text chat before your application is sent. The AI interview is a separate video step some companies use afterwards. See AI interview.

Who reads my answers?

The hiring team for that job, alongside your resume.
