Why am I asked about relocating or my experience?
These are confirmation prompts, not rejections. Answering yes continues your application. Answering no stops it, because the role needs what was asked.
The two prompts
- **Are you willing to relocate?**
- Shown when the role is on site in a city other than yours. The city is named on screen.
- **Experience**
- Asks whether you have the years of experience the role needs, with Yes and No buttons.
What each answer does
- Yes, I am willing to relocate
The application continues. The recruiter is told you have set that city as a preferred job location.
- No, I prefer not to relocate
The application stops there. Nothing is sent, and you can carry on browsing.
- Yes on experience
The application continues normally.
- No on experience
The application stops, because the company set that requirement on the posting.
