How do I stop the trial before it charges me?
Go to your profile, open the Gold Trial card and press Cancel Subscription, then pick a reason and confirm. You keep Gold for the rest of the 7 days and the day 7 charge does not happen.
Cancel the trial
- Open your profile
Go to your profile and find the Gold Trial card.
You can also reach it from View subscription on Manage products.
- Press Cancel Subscription
A window titled Cancel Gold trial? opens and tells you what happens.
- Choose Cancel subscription
The other button, Keep my Gold, closes the window and changes nothing.
- Pick a reason
Before you go, why are you cancelling? asks for one reason. Pick Something else if none fit and type a line.
- Press Confirm cancellation
A message confirms Trial cancelled, you won't be charged.
If something goes wrong
I cannot find the card on my profile
WhyThe card only shows for an active paid plan or a running trial.
FixCheck Manage products first to confirm the trial is still live.
Confirm cancellation stays greyed out
WhyNo reason is selected, or Something else is chosen with nothing typed.
FixPick a reason, and type at least a few words if you chose Something else.
It says "Couldn't cancel. Please try again."
WhyThe request did not complete.
FixReload the profile page and try once more. Do this before day 7.
