How do I delete my post?
Open the menu on your own post and select Delete post, then confirm. Deleting cannot be undone. Posts by other people can only be muted or reported, not deleted.
Delete it
- Find the post
On the feed or on your own profile.
- Open the menu
Select the three dot Post options button at the top right of the post.
- Select Delete post
A confirmation asks Delete this post? This cannot be undone.
- Confirm
A Post deleted. message confirms it worked.
On someone else's post you can only
- Copy link
- Not interested, to see fewer posts like it
- Mute, to stop seeing that author
- Report post, if it breaks the rules
If something goes wrong
"Could not delete the post. Please try again."
WhyThe request failed on the way.
FixReload the page and try once more.
There is no Delete option on my own post
WhyYou may be signed in to a different account than the one that posted it.
FixCheck the account from the profile menu.
