How do I finish an application I started earlier?
If you stepped away into the resume builder or the Goodness assessment, a Continue with your application bar appears there. It holds the job for 24 hours.
When the bar appears
- After Edit resume in Builder
- It appears in the resume builder, on the resume you were sent to.
- After Start assessment
- It appears on the Goodness Score progress page once you have a score.
- How long it lasts
- 24 hours.
- What it shows
- The job title and the company you were applying to.
Finish the application
- Select the bar
It opens the apply panel in place, so you do not have to leave the page you are on.
- Pick a resume
Your saved resumes are listed, along with anything you just built.
- Answer any questions and submit
The same screening chat and result screen as a normal application.
If something goes wrong
The bar is not there
WhyIt is only shown on the page you were diverted to, and only within 24 hours.
FixOpen the job itself and press Quick Apply. Nothing is lost.
It is showing an unrelated job
WhyAn older unfinished application is still being held.
FixDismiss it with the cross, then apply to the job you want directly.
It does not appear on the job page itself
WhyThat is deliberate.
FixOn the job page the Quick Apply button is already there, so the bar would be a duplicate.

No. Nothing reaches the company until the result screen appears.
Does it work if I switch devices?
No. The held application is kept in the browser you started in.
