Why do I have to sign in and add a resume first?
Signing in lets the headshot be saved to your account as your profile photo. New accounts are asked for a resume once, which completes your GoodSpace profile so other tools work too.
The steps before generating
- Phone and OTP
If you are signed out, the login screen opens when you start the headshot flow.
- Resume, once
New accounts are asked to upload or pick a resume. PDF, DOC or DOCX under 5 MB.
- A short wait while it is read
A processing screen appears while your resume is read into your profile.
- The generator opens
Once your profile is set up, the headshot generator opens directly on future visits.
If something goes wrong
"Failed to process resume."
WhyThe file could not be read into your profile.
FixTry a text based PDF. See Profile and resume.
"An error occurred while parsing the resume."
WhyProcessing stopped before it finished.
FixStart the flow again and upload the file once more.
The login screen keeps coming back
WhyThe OTP was not completed, or the session expired.
