Why does my jobs feed look empty or irrelevant?
The feed is ranked against your resume and profile, so a thin or outdated resume produces weak matches. Update your resume and profile, then reload the Jobs page.
Match the symptom to the cause
The jobs are from the wrong field entirely
WhyYour resume or profile does not say clearly what you do, so the matching has little to work with.
FixOpen your profile and set your designation, skills and experience. Then upload a current resume.
Every job is far from where I live
WhyNo city is saved on your profile.
FixAdd your city to your profile, then reload Jobs. You can also open a city page.
I keep seeing the same few jobs
WhyYou have already worked through your best matches, and the deeper pages fall back to the most recent postings.
FixUse search for the roles you want, and check back the next day for new postings.
The list is completely empty
WhyThe feed did not load, or every match was removed because you had applied to them.
FixReload the page. If it is still empty, check your connection and try again in a few minutes.
"No jobs found" with "Check back later for new opportunities."
WhyNothing at all could be listed for you right now.
FixReload, then try a search for your role rather than the recommended list.
Fix the matching
- Upload a current resume
Most of the matching comes from your resume. See Profile and resume.
- Complete your profile
Designation, skills, experience and city all feed the ranking.
- Reload the Jobs page
The list is re-ranked when the page loads, not while you sit on it.
- Search as well as browse
The feed is one way in. A search for the exact role you want is often faster.
