What are recommended jobs and how are they picked?
Recommended jobs are ranked against your profile and resume, so two people never see the same list. Jobs you have already applied to are removed from it.
The heading on the jobs list says Recommended jobs, and under it, Jobs where your profile has higher chances of getting shortlisted. That is exactly what the list is: open roles ranked against what your profile and resume say about you.
What the matching reads
- Your resume
- The skills, roles and experience read from the resume on your account.
- Your profile
- Designation, skills and experience saved on your profile.
- Your location
- Saved from your profile, used so nearby roles rank higher.
- What is left out
- Jobs you have already applied to, and postings that are no longer open.

- Upload a complete, current resume
Matching is only as good as the resume it reads. Add your real job titles, skills and dates.
- Fill the gaps on your profile
Open your profile and check your designation, skills, experience and city.
- Give it a little time
A brand new profile has nothing to match on yet, so you see a general list of recent jobs first.
Reload the Jobs page after you update your resume.

Can I turn off recommendations and see all jobs?
There is no all jobs list. The closest thing is a search, or a city or role page, which shows the live openings for that city or role.
Do the recommendations change during the day?
Yes. New postings go live through the day, and the list is re-ranked when you reload the page.
