How do I edit or remove a job on the tracker?
Open the three dots on the card and choose Edit details or Remove. In the table view you can type straight into the Position and Company cells, and the bin icon at the end of a row deletes it.
Edit a job
- Open the card menu
Tap the three dots at the top right of the card.
- Choose Edit details
The same form as Add Application opens, filled in.
- Change what is wrong
A title scraped from a web page is often messy, so this is worth doing.
- Save
Press Save.
Remove a job
- From the board
Three dots on the card, then Remove.
- From the table
Press the bin icon at the end of the row.
- It goes straight away
There is no confirmation step, so be sure before you press it.
If something goes wrong
Location, salary or On-site will not clear
WhyEmptying those boxes does not erase the stored value.
FixType a replacement value instead of leaving the box blank. A blank box keeps whatever was there before.
There is no Edit details in the menu
WhyThat row has nothing GoodSpace can write an edit against.
FixRemove it and add it again with Add Application.
"Could not delete this application."
WhyThe delete did not reach GoodSpace.
FixThe row reappears on the board. Check your connection and try again.
"Could not save the job details."
WhyThe edit did not save.
FixReload the tracker and check what actually stuck before editing again.
