What permissions does the extension ask for, and why?
The extension needs to store your settings, read the job page you are on, know which tab is active, and open its side panel. It contains no analytics or advertising code and nothing is sent until you press a button.
What each permission is for

What it does not touch
- Your passwords
- Your email and your messages
- Your financial or payment information
- Your health information
- Your device location, including the browser location service
- Your browsing history, and it does not track you across websites

That is Chrome's standard wording for an extension that reads a page. It applies only to the job sites listed in the Web Store entry.
Where is the full policy?
Read the browser extension privacy policy. It names every field the extension reads.
Does it keep a copy of my resume?
It notes which resume you attached to an application, and keeps the file so the right version is linked to the right application. It is sent to GoodSpace only if you choose to log that application.
