About the Role
OpenBI is hiring a Full Stack Developer to design, build, secure and deploy enterprise-grade web applications using AI-assisted and agentic workflows, with a strong preference for Claude Code. You will own the full development lifecycle, from UI and APIs to cloud deployment, AI integration and production support, working closely with business, technical and legal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain end-to-end web applications across frontend, backend and database layers.
  • Architect multi-tenant platforms with tenant-level data isolation and role-based access control (RBAC).
  • Build responsive, high-performance UIs with React / Next.js and Tailwind CSS.
  • Develop secure REST APIs and background jobs with Python (FastAPI) or Node.js; design and optimise relational schemas.
  • Build e-commerce modules (catalogue, cart, checkout, orders, invoicing) and integrate payment gateways end to end, including webhooks, refunds and reconciliation.
  • Integrate third-party services such as CRM, ERP, transactional email and e-signature.
  • Implement SSO (Microsoft Entra ID, Google) via OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect, encryption at rest and in transit, secrets management and audit logging.
  • Protect applications against OWASP Top 10 risks, malicious bots and DDoS attacks.
  • Engineer for scale and availability with caching, auto-scaling, rate limiting, SSR, CDN caching, backups and disaster recovery.
  • Implement technical SEO, crawler controls, cookie consent management and privacy workflows with the legal team.
  • Set up product analytics and observability: error tracking, structured logging, uptime monitoring and alerting.
  • Use Claude Code and agentic workflows for coding, refactoring, debugging, testing and documentation.
  • Build AI features (assistants, semantic search, document intelligence) using LLM APIs and RAG pipelines, with secure data handling.
  • Automate CI/CD with zero-downtime releases; write unit, integration and end-to-end tests; run security and load testing.
  • Provide production support and contribute to code reviews.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • 3+ years as a Full Stack Developer building production web applications.
  • Delivered at least one web application end to end, from development to production.
  • Hands-on experience building e-commerce applications and integrating payment gateways (Stripe / Razorpay / PayPal or similar).
  • B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or a related field, or MCA.

Technical Skills

  • Frontend: React JS / Next.js, TypeScript / JavaScript, Tailwind CSS
  • Backend: Python (FastAPI / Django) or Node.js (Express / NestJS), REST APIs, async programming
  • Database: PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB, Redis
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure / AWS / GCP, Docker, CI/CD
  • Version control: Git, pull-request workflows, code reviews
  • Testing: Pytest / Jest / Playwright
  • Core knowledge: SSO, OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, JWT, RBAC, OWASP Top 10, Core Web Vitals, caching, CDN, technical SEO, PII handling, observability

AI and Communication

  • Actively uses AI coding tools, preferably Claude Code, and can demonstrate their workflow.
  • Strong fundamentals in programming, debugging, data structures and system design.
  • Ownership mindset, attention to detail and confident spoken English.

Good to Have

  • Proof of work: shipped apps, live demos, open-source contributions or strong GitHub repositories.
  • Experience with Cloudflare or similar CDN / edge platforms, including WAF and bot management.
  • Experience with sensitive or regulated data.
  • LLM application development: prompt engineering, RAG, vector databases, agentic workflows / MCP.
  • Workflow automation: n8n / Make / Zapier.
