About the Role
Manage end-to-end procurement of materials and equipment for fountain, water-feature, and MEP installation projects — ensuring timely, cost-effective sourcing without compromising quality or project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Source / manage vendors for pumps, valves, piping, electrical / multimedia components, stainless steel and other MEP materials.
- Float RFQs, negotiate rates and payment terms, and issue purchase orders aligned with project BOQs and schedules.
- Evaluate, empanel, and maintain a reliable vendor/supplier base; conduct periodic rate benchmarking.
- Coordinate with the estimation and project execution teams to ensure material availability matches site timelines.
- Coordinate with production to ensure just in time raw material purchase.
- Inspect and verify incoming material documentation and clear supplier bills.
- Track vendor performance, resolve payment or delivery disputes, and liaise with accounts/legal on contract and PO terms.
- Maintain procurement records, vendor database, and cost-tracking reports.
- Ensure cost saving thru regular market surveys.
- Keep in close touch with materials that our business uses and suggest options based on market.
- Locate new items / local suppliers at our site locations within a short time.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management (MBA a plus)
- 5–10 years in procurement/purchasing, ideally in EPC projects company.
- Experience with government/municipal tender-based procurement is a plus
- Strong vendor negotiation skills and excellent knowledge of Excel and SAP
