Overview: EquityList is seeking a Principal Engineer to join our dynamic team in Gurgaon. We're building the future of equity management, empowering startups globally. This role is crucial for driving technical excellence, shaping our product, and mentoring our engineers. You'll be instrumental in designing and implementing scalable solutions that impact thousands of users.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and design of complex, scalable systems (Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, React, Ruby).
• Drive technical strategy and contribute to product roadmap decisions.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Oversee DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure on GCP/Kubernetes.
• Ensure high standards of code quality through comprehensive code reviews.
• Champion InfoSec and SOC2 compliance within engineering practices.
• Actively participate in the hiring process, building a world-class engineering team.
• Lead system design discussions and implement robust solutions using Postgres.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, with significant technical leadership.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, React, and Next.js.
• Strong understanding of system design, architecture, and microservices.
• Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and conduct effective code reviews.
• Familiarity with InfoSec and SOC2 compliance.
• Experience with Postgres and database optimization.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
