Overview: Laxcon Steel Limited, a leader in steel manufacturing, seeks a dynamic Head of Electrical and Automation to drive innovation and efficiency at our Ahmedabad facility. This pivotal role oversees all electrical and automation aspects, ensuring seamless operations and technological advancement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all electrical and automation systems across furnace, CCM, and rolling mill operations.
• Oversee maintenance and reliability of HT/LT power systems, transformers, switchgears, motors, and drives.
• Develop and implement automation strategies using Siemens, Rockwell, and ABB PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.
• Manage and mentor a high-performing electrical and automation team.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for electrical systems and automation processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 15-20 years of progressive experience in electrical and automation, preferably within the steel industry.
• Proven expertise in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell, ABB), SCADA, HMI systems, drives, and HT/LT power systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
