On the Platform Engineering team you'll shape Avni across backend, frontend, mobile and cloud — offline sync, configurable workflows, deployment automation, AI capabilities and production reliability — owning its long-term evolution alongside product, implementation and customer teams. Key Responsibilities Product: new Avni capabilities; scalable, maintainable, well-tested software; better performance, reliability and UX; design and architecture decisions; our open-source ecosystem. Platform: deployment automation, developer productivity, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, observability, monitoring, operational reliability, internal tooling. Real problems: reusable capabilities drawn from actual programme needs; hard customer requirements solved with implementation teams; production issues investigated and prevented from recurring. Learning: emerging tech and AI; knowledge shared through code reviews, design discussions and mentoring. Requirements Must have: strong engineering fundamentals; good Java or Node.js; REST APIs; strong SQL and relational databases; ability to independently design, build and debug production software; a passion for clean, maintainable, well-tested code. Preferred Qualifications Nice to have: React or React Native, AWS or other cloud, Docker and CI/CD, Android, open-source contributions.
