About Altius Investech Altius Investech is an equity research company specializing in unlisted and pre-IPO shares. We provide clients with in-depth research, valuation insights, and access to opportunities in the unlisted market, helping them make informed investment decisions. About the Role We are looking for a motivated Sales & Research Analyst to manage client relationships and support them with well-researched investment insights on unlisted companies. This is a desk-based role where the candidate will work with a provided client base (existing and new leads) and will also be responsible for preparing research notes and one-pagers on unlisted companies to support client decision-making. Key Responsibilities Client Handling & Sales - Connect with existing and new clients (leads provided by the company) via calls, emails, and meetings. - Understand client investment needs and pitch suitable unlisted share opportunities. - Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat business and referrals. - Follow up consistently on leads, negotiate deals, and close transactions. - Keep clients updated on new opportunities, price movements, and company developments in the unlisted space. - Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions in the CRM/system. Research & Content - Conduct fundamental research on unlisted companies (financials, business model, industry, valuation). - Prepare concise, well-structured one-pagers and research notes for client circulation. - Track corporate actions, funding rounds, and news flow relevant to unlisted companies. - Support the team with sector/industry analysis and periodic market updates. - Ensure research output is accurate, well-presented, and delivered within timelines. Requirements Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred but not mandatory). Prior experience in equity research, broking, wealth management, or unlisted shares sales is an added advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build client trust. Good understanding of financial statements, valuation basics, and capital markets. Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and report writing. Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with a desk-based sales-cum-research role. Mutual fund advisory experience is a plus. What We Offer Competitive salary as per experience and skill set.
