About the Role Own confirmed FIT bookings end-to-end, from sales handover to the traveller's safe return. Ensure accurate execution, supplier control, timely documentation, margin protection and smooth traveller support. Key Responsibilities Execute confirmed bookings for hotels, DMCs, transfers, sightseeing, rail passes, activities and ancillaries. Confirm rates, availability and inclusions with overseas DMCs and suppliers. Track option dates, release dates and cancellation deadlines with zero missed deadlines. Escalate supplier issues, rate changes or availability failures immediately. Prepare vouchers, final itineraries, hotel confirmations, transfer details and emergency contacts. Coordinate visa documentation, travel insurance and passport/document verification. Support pre-departure briefings and ensure travellers have no open questions. Reconcile supplier invoices with confirmed costings and flag variances before payment. Track supplier payments and monitor FX impact on foreign currency payables. Protect booked margins and escalate cost deviations with written explanations. Ensure compliance with TCS, GST, insurance and company policies. Support travellers during tours, including after-hours escalation on a rostered basis. Resolve issues with DMCs quickly and document incidents and resolutions. Collect traveller feedback and communicate service issues and wins to relevant teams. Complete supplier settlement, reconciliation and file closure within defined TAT. Maintain accurate and timely records in company systems. Contribute supplier feedback, destination notes and product intelligence. Requirements 2–4 years of travel operations experience, preferably outbound FIT with a tour operator, DMC or IATA agency. Working knowledge of at least two international regions such as Southeast Asia, Europe or the Middle East. Strong written and spoken English with confidence communicating with overseas suppliers. High proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CRM/booking systems. Strong attention to detail and ownership of deadlines. Graduate in any discipline. Travel/tourism qualification such as IATA/IITM is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Exposure to GDS such as Amadeus/Galileo and airline ticketing. Experience with visa documentation for multiple consulates. Kannada and/or Hindi in addition to English. Behavioural Attributes Calm and solution-oriented under pressure. Escalates issues early rather than hiding problems. Collaborative with sales and treats consultants as internal clients. Comfortable with process discipline and system-based working. First 90 Days Day 30: Independently handle documentation and voucher issuance and understand suppliers and internal processes. Day 60: Own a portfolio of FIT files end-to-end, with supervision only for exceptions. Day 90: Run files independently with clean margin reconciliation, contribute supplier/destination intelligence and participate in the escalation roster. Working Hours Standard office hours, with flexibility during peak season and for rostered after-hours traveller escalations.
