About the Company The company is involved in civil construction projects, specifically focusing on retaining walls, industrial platforms, and allied infrastructure. The role is part of the Projects & Execution department and reports to the Project Coordinator / Head – Projects. About the Role The Project Manager – Civil (Site Based) is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of assigned projects, ensuring delivery as per GFC drawings, approved methodology, contract requirements, quality, safety, and statutory standards. The role requires maintaining complete project documentation and commercial control from JMR to certified billing. Key Responsibilities Supervise earthwork, backfilling, concrete, reinforcement, formwork, staging, and retaining/RE wall works. Ensure execution as per GFC drawings, approved methodology, and project specifications. Monitor progress, productivity, quality, manpower, machinery, and material utilisation. Identify delays, analyse root causes, and implement corrective actions. Maintain DPRs and daily site activity records. Act as the site-level contact for clients, PMC, consultants, contractors, and internal teams. Ensure timely sign-off on JMRs, pour cards, quality checklists, cube registers, hindrance registers, permits, and change orders. Conduct progress review meetings and escalate critical issues. Maintain Drawing Register, Change Order Book, Hindrance Register, Cube Register, and Pour Card records. Ensure timely updates on ERP, ClickUp, Oriole, DGQC, and other company systems. Maintain zero backlog on DPR, GRN, GIN, and material requirements. Conduct quality inspections and ensure material compliance. Maintain design mix approvals, batch reports, cube tests, and third-party test reports. Enforce scaffolding/staging standards and ensure daily Toolbox Talks. Ensure labour induction, medical checks, and machinery/tool inspections. Monitor material receipt, storage, and issue; maintain stock records and reconciliation. Raise material requirements in advance and control wastage. Manage contractor mobilisation, deployment, and performance. Assess labour and machinery requirements and support contractor onboarding. Prepare and submit client bills with complete supporting documents. Follow up for certification and collections. Verify contractor/vendor bills against actual work and contract terms. Monitor variations, claims, outstanding payments, and commercial deviations. Manage site manpower, attendance, discipline, and workforce allocation. Support recruitment and onboarding of site staff. Coordinate with design teams for drawings and technical clarifications. Identify discrepancies and resolve technical issues before execution. Requirements 5–10 years of civil construction execution experience. Hands-on experience in Retaining/RE Walls, industrial platforms, earthwork, or allied infrastructure. Ability to independently manage contractors, manpower, stores, quality, safety, and billing. Knowledge of BOQ, JMR, variations, debit notes, and bill certification. Comfortable with ERP-based reporting and digital project systems. Strong documentation and stakeholder management skills. Ability to secure client/PMC approvals and sign-offs. Working knowledge of Marathi/Hindi preferred. Location & Work Mode The role is site-based in Pune, Maharashtra, and the Maharashtra Region. The candidate must be willing to relocate anywhere in India as per project requirements.
