About the Role You will own Prometteur's entire Upwork channel, including bidding strategy, agency profiles, lead qualification, and team management. This is a senior, hands-on, AI-first role where you will personally close mid-to-high-ticket projects while leading a team of junior BDEs. You will carry both individual and team revenue targets with a clear path toward a Channel Head or Sales Head position. Key Responsibilities Run and optimize multiple Upwork agency accounts and manager profiles, maintaining JSS, response rates, and top-rated badges. Lead a team of 2–3 junior BDEs, setting daily bidding targets and reviewing every proposal before submission. Personally close mid-to-high-ticket projects in web, mobile, custom software, SaaS, cloud, and AI. Run discovery calls on Zoom with international founders and decision-makers to scope and structure commercial proposals. Maintain disciplined pipeline hygiene in HubSpot and report weekly on closures and win/loss reasons. Use ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini daily for proposal personalization, lead research, and building AI prompt libraries for the team. Train freshers to bid faster and smarter using modern sales-AI tooling without sacrificing quality. Requirements 3+ years of hands-on selling on Upwork with verifiable closures in IT services (non-iGaming). Proven experience handling multiple Upwork agency accounts and manager profiles simultaneously. Experience leading or mentoring at least 1–2 BDEs or bidders with ownership of their output. Deep knowledge of Upwork dynamics: connects, boosting, dispute handling, and ToS boundaries. Daily, hands-on proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini for sales workflows. Strong written English and confidence in conducting negotiations with international clients. Willingness to work on-site in Surat. Preferred Qualifications Experience on additional freelance platforms such as Codeur, Contra, Toptal, or Freelancer. Background in selling custom software, mobile apps, AI, or cloud/DevOps services. Experience building and maintaining a personal AI prompt library for sales tasks. Prior experience in hiring and ramping up junior business development staff.
