About the Role We are looking for an experienced Project Head / Project Director to lead and manage large-scale solar EPC projects from project initiation through commissioning and handover. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in managing large solar projects up to 80 MW or above, with proven expertise in project execution, team management, client coordination, and overall project delivery. Key Responsibilities Overall responsibility for planning, execution, monitoring, and completion of large-scale solar EPC projects. Manage projects with capacities of at least 70-80 MW or above. Develop project execution plans, schedules, manpower plans, and resource requirements. Lead project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, electrical, civil, QA/QC, and commissioning teams. Ensure projects are delivered within the approved timeline, budget, quality, and safety standards. Coordinate with clients, consultants, DISCOMs, government authorities, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Monitor project progress against milestones and take corrective actions for delays. Review engineering, procurement, material availability, construction, testing, and commissioning activities. Manage project budgets, cost control, billing, and commercial aspects in coordination with the concerned teams. Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures. Resolve technical, operational, contractual, and execution-related issues. Ensure timely procurement and mobilization of materials, manpower, machinery, and subcontractors. Conduct regular project review meetings and submit MIS/progress reports to management. Ensure compliance with project specifications, contractual requirements, statutory regulations, and HSE standards. Lead final testing, commissioning, documentation, and project handover. Requirements 10–15 years of total experience in Solar EPC / Renewable Energy projects. Proven experience in independently handling large-scale solar projects of 80 MW or above. Strong experience in end-to-end project execution from mobilization to commissioning and handover. Experience managing multiple teams, contractors, and project stakeholders. Strong knowledge of solar EPC project execution, including civil, electrical, module installation, HT/LT systems, evacuation, testing, and commissioning. Strong project planning, leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Experience in handling clients, consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors. Willingness to travel to project sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Candidates from established Solar EPC / Renewable Energy companies with demonstrated experience of successfully executing 70MW–80 MW+ utility-scale or large rooftop/ground-mounted solar projects will be preferred.
