About the Company Maharaja & Speedex India Limited is a vertically integrated manufacturer of stainless steel consumer products headquartered in New Delhi. Since 2006, the company has evolved from a trading business into a manufacturing-led enterprise with a growing presence across retail, institutional, and digital channels. The company operates under the Speedex and Dewdrop brands and also manufactures OEM and private-label products. Its portfolio serves everyday, premium, and lifestyle segments through a network of approximately 120 distributors across 17 States and 2 Union Territories, along with leading e-commerce and quick-commerce platforms. About the Role The Plant Head is responsible for the overall performance of the manufacturing facility, with end-to-end ownership of production, quality, safety, people, delivery, and financial performance. The role bridges corporate strategy and plant execution, ensuring efficient operations, scalable systems, and manufacturing excellence. Key Responsibilities * Lead overall plant performance across production, quality, delivery, cost, safety, and people. * Align production plans with business objectives, customer demand, and sales forecasts. * Establish efficient production systems from raw material receipt to final dispatch. * Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, RCA, waste reduction, and OEE improvement. * Lead capacity planning and oversee Capex planning, evaluation, and commissioning of machinery. * Ensure quality standards and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved. * Own the plant P&L, manufacturing budgets, and cost control initiatives. * Drive productivity and cost reduction through improved material utilization, labor efficiency, and process optimization. * Track KPIs including OEE, throughput, rejection rates, on-time delivery, and unit cost, implementing corrective actions where required. * Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to maintain uninterrupted production. * Build strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and institutional customers. * Ensure collaboration across PPC, HR, Admin, Maintenance, Quality, and Materials functions. * Develop the plant organization structure, manpower plans, KPIs, and succession pipeline. * Build high-performing teams through coaching, multi-skilling, and performance management. * Ensure compliance with Factory Act, ESI, PF, labor, and environmental regulations. * Promote a zero-incident safety culture through audits, risk assessments, and corrective actions. * Lead continuous improvement programs using structured problem-solving and root cause analysis. Requirements * B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering; MBA preferred. * 15–20+ years of manufacturing experience, including 5–7 years as Plant Head or in a full plant P&L leadership role. * Experience with Tier-1 automotive suppliers to OEMs is mandatory. Exposure to sheet metal manufacturing, metal forming, or steel fabrication is preferred. * Proven success in improving productivity, quality, cost, and team performance. * Strong leadership, strategic thinking, execution capability, and ERP proficiency. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Fluency in Hindi and English is essential.
