About the Role This role requires a deep understanding of welded carbon steel pipes and at least 6 years of experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, or manufacturing. Expertise in carbon steel pipe specifications, grades, ASTM/API standards, and manufacturing processes is necessary. Familiarity with international sourcing and import/export procedures is essential. Key Responsibilities Cost analysis and evaluation, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection. Connections with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to identify alternatives and mitigate supply chain risks. Sourcing carbon steel pipes globally, with insights into market trends and pricing. Negotiation skills for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Experience obtaining techno-commercial offers and managing procurement for Europe/Middle East projects. Requirements 6+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or manufacturing industry. Technical knowledge of carbon steel pipe specifications, grades, ASTM/API standards, and manufacturing processes. Understanding of international sourcing and import/export procedures. Proficient in cost analysis and evaluation, including RFQs, bid evaluations, and supplier selection. Established relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers. Experience sourcing carbon steel pipes globally, with knowledge of market trends and pricing. Strong negotiation skills for pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Experience obtaining techno-commercial offers and handling procurement for Europe/Middle East projects. Location & Work Mode Onsite. Additional Requirements Familiarity with API, ASME, and ASTM standards. Knowledge of seamless, ERW, LSA, and HSAW manufacturing processes. Exposure to international sourcing from Europe, Middle East, Korea, Japan, China, and global vendor development. Experience in RFQ management, techno-commercial evaluation, vendor selection, purchase order management, and contract negotiation. Project exposure in oil & gas, EPC, petrochemical, refinery, and Middle East/Europe projects. Understanding of the manufacturers, stockists, distributors, EPC contractors, international suppliers, and end-users ecosystem. Proficiency in Oracle and ERP systems. Educational background in mechanical engineering preferred. Notice Period Within 30 days. Work Details 5 Days, Monday to Friday, 09:30 AM to 06:30 PM, Office address Somajiguda, Hyderabad.
