About the Role We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager from the General Insurance or Insurance Broking industry to join our Mumbai branch. This is an urgent hiring requirement for a highly driven sales professional who has successfully built business from the ground level and possesses strong expertise in Corporate and SME insurance sales. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in acquiring new corporate clients, generating business independently, achieving premium targets, and managing end-to-end corporate insurance sales. This role will play a key part in establishing and expanding the company's Mumbai operations and will contribute towards building a high-performing sales team in the future. Key Responsibilities Identify and acquire new Corporate and SME clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and market research. Generate qualified business opportunities and convert them into successful sales. Achieve the assigned annual premium target of ₹2.5 Crore. Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with corporate clients and key decision-makers. Conduct client meetings, insurance need analysis, presentations, and product demonstrations. Prepare insurance quotations, proposals, and negotiate commercial terms with clients. Coordinate with insurers, underwriting, operations, and claims teams for seamless policy issuance and servicing. Cross-sell and up-sell multiple insurance products to existing corporate clients. Handle policy renewals, client retention, and portfolio growth. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline, CRM records, and regular MIS reports. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities. Represent the company professionally at client meetings, networking events, and business forums. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through timely servicing and claims support.
