Overview: Laxcon Steel Limited is seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations & Project Head for our Seamless Pipe Plant in Ahmedabad. This pivotal role involves overseeing all operational facets, driving strategic growth, and leading critical projects to enhance productivity and efficiency. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our seamless pipe manufacturing unit.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all day-to-day operations of the seamless pipe plant.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for production, growth, and efficiency.
• Oversee Production Planning & Control (PPC) to ensure targets are met.
• Implement robust cost control measures and drive operational efficiency.
• Lead project management for plant commissioning, upgrades, and expansions.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems and relevant certifications.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Manage budgeting, resource allocation, and team coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 20-25 years of extensive experience in seamless pipe manufacturing operations.
• Proven leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong technical expertise in seamless pipe manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated experience in project management and plant commissioning.
• Expertise in cost management, operational efficiency, and PPC.
• Knowledge of quality systems and relevant industry certifications.
• Experience in maintenance planning (preventive & breakdown).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
