Aforro is building the backbone infrastructure that will empower thousands of kirana stores to play in a whole new game — matching the speed, efficiency, and intelligence of quick-commerce giants without the burn. This is a ground-up tech build, and we’re looking for someone who can think beyond tickets and tasks, and truly own systems end-to-end.

What You Will Do

● Build high-performance mobile apps from scratch using React Native for Android and iOS.

● Take complete ownership of the app product lifecycle: development, testing, deployment, and iteration.

● Implement complex workflows across both the user shopping app and rider app, including order management, payments, delivery tracking, and related operations.

● Collaborate closely with Figma designers to translate their designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and intuitive mobile interfaces.

● Optimize apps for performance, offline support, and high concurrency.

● Integrate with backend services and APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and reliability.

● Mentor and guide mobile interns to deliver scalable, maintainable code.

● Troubleshoot, debug, and continuously improve the app based on feedback and analytics.

You Should Have

● 4+ years of hands-on mobile app development experience using React Native.

● Proven experience building apps from scratch — not just maintaining existing code.

● Strong skills in state management, navigation, background tasks, push notifications, and API integration.

● Experience collaborating with designers to implement UI/UX from Figma/Sketch files.

● Understanding of Android and iOS deployment pipelines, app store submissions, and platform guidelines.

● Experience with testing frameworks, CI/CD, and mobile performance monitoring.

● Ability to lead and mentor interns or junior developers.

● Ownership mentality: you take full responsibility for your app modules.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Bonus Points

● Experience building high-traffic apps for e-commerce, delivery, or logistics.

● Experience with analytics, crash reporting, and performance optimization.

● Familiarity with advanced mobile architecture patterns.
