Job Description

Overview: Octobotics is seeking an experienced Principal Electrical & Electronics Engineer to design, develop, and validate cutting-edge robotic systems. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our innovative products, contributing to all phases from concept to production. Join our dynamic team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and make a significant impact on next-generation robotics.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of complex electrical and electronic systems, including system architecture.
  • Develop and implement embedded systems using Embedded C, C/C++, STM32, Raspberry Pi, and Nvidia Jetson.
  • Design and troubleshoot power electronics, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and safety-critical design (IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
  • Conduct circuit debugging, advanced filtering, power testing, and validation of hardware.
  • Perform hardware-firmware integration and system integration.
  • Utilize Python, MATLAB/Simulink, and PyQt for prototyping, control, and data analysis.
  • Implement advanced control algorithms, including PID control, fuzzy logic, fuzzy control, AI-enhanced signal processing, and ML-based control.
  • Manage PCB design using KiCad and perform precision soldering.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical and electronics engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in Embedded C, C/C++, Python, MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Strong experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers (STM32, Raspberry Pi, Nvidia Jetson).
  • Expertise in power electronics design, EMI/EMC compliance, and safety standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485).
  • Hands-on experience with prototyping, soldering, and circuit debugging.
  • Knowledge of FPGA, system architecture, and hardware-firmware integration.
  • Familiarity with control systems, including PID and fuzzy logic.
  • Experience with KiCad for PCB design.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
