Overview: Laxcon Steel Limited, a leader in stainless steel manufacturing, seeks an experienced Head Of Operations for our Ahmedabad facility. This pivotal role will drive operational excellence, optimize production, and ensure the highest quality standards across all manufacturing processes. You will lead strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of stainless steel manufacturing, from EAF/AOD melting to finishing processes.
• Implement and manage lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and execute strategic operational plans, production scheduling, and resource utilization.
• Manage budget, cost control, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
• Drive quality management systems, ISO certifications, and maintain high-quality standards.
• Oversee maintenance strategies, ERP and MES implementation, and stakeholder management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Metallurgical Engineering.
• 20+ years of progressive experience in stainless steel manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven expertise in continuous casting, hot/cold rolling, and finishing processes.
• Demonstrated ability in budget management, cost control, and strategic thinking.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control, ISO certifications, and safety regulations.
• Experience with change management, problem-solving, and negotiation.
