Aforro is building the backbone infrastructure that will empower thousands of kirana stores to play in a whole new game — matching the speed, efficiency, and intelligence of quick-commerce giants without the burn. This is a ground-up tech build, and we’re looking for someone who can think beyond tickets and tasks, and truly own systems end-to-end.

What You Will Do

● Build the frontend of a core product from scratch using React — clean, scalable, and performant.

● Take complete ownership of the product cycle: design → development → testing → deployment → iteration.

● Handle complex workflows involving inventory management, billing, order management, and integrations with external systems.

● Collaborate closely with founders and backend developers to design robust, high-usage systems.

● Work on intuitive UI/UX, including translating designs into interactive, polished experiences.

● Manage and mentor frontend interns, ensuring quality and velocity.

● Optimize for performance and scalability, as this will be a high-traffic, mission-critical product.

● Troubleshoot, debug, and constantly improve workflows based on user feedback.

You Should Have

● 3+ years of frontend development experience, with strong React expertise.

● Ability to design and build complex, high-usage web applications from scratch — not just implement existing wireframes.

● Strong UI/UX design sense — you will create layouts, flows, and interactive elements directly, ensuring usability and visual polish.

● Experience with state management, component architecture, hooks, and modern React patterns.

● Ability to understand backend workflows and APIs to integrate seamlessly.

● Experience with version control (Git), testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.

● Ability to lead and mentor interns, ensuring high-quality output.

● Ownership mentality: you can take ambiguous requirements and design & build a complete product.

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Bonus Points

● Experience building inventory, billing, or e-commerce systems.

● Knowledge of performance optimization and frontend architecture for high-traffic applications.

● Experience with analytics, dashboards, or integrations with third-party APIs.

● Experience contributing to design decisions or user flows, not just implementation.
