About the Role
We are looking for an IT Engineer with 3–4 years of hands-on field experience in desktop support, laptop configuration, server installation. The role involves on-site installation, configuration, troubleshooting & support for PCs, laptops, servers & network systems. This is a field-intensive role requiring regular site visits and coordination with clients & internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Desktop PCs, Laptops, and Workstations
• Install and configure Windows/Linux operating systems and necessary software applications
• Deploy and manage servers, storage systems, and basic virtualization setups
• Perform LAN networking setup, IP configuration, and structured cabling
• Install and maintain network devices such as switches, routers, and access points
• Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, operating systems, network connectivity, and peripherals
• Support server configuration, backup management, and system maintenance
• Coordinate with senior engineers and project managers for IT infrastructure implementation
• Maintain asset records, installation documentation, and system configurations
• Submit daily work updates and site progress reports
• Assist in system handover, client training, and technical support
• Travel to client/project sites as required
Skills Required
• Strong knowledge of Desktop PCs, Laptops, and Server hardware
• Experience in Windows OS installation, system configuration, and troubleshooting
• Basic knowledge of server setup, Active Directory, and user management
• Understanding of LAN networking, IP addressing, and network troubleshooting
• Experience in structured cabling and network infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with installation tools and diagnostic utilities
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and coordination abilities
• Willingness to work in field environment and travel to project sites
